Lady Stallions Stay Unbeaten, Sweep New Prospect to Improve to 7-0
The South Lawrence Lady Stallions kept their undefeated season rolling Monday afternoon with a dominant straight-set victory over New Prospect.
South Lawrence defeated New Prospect 2-0, taking both sets by identical scores of 25-7.
The Lady Stallions controlled the match from the start, allowing just 14 total points across the two sets. South Lawrence opened with a convincing 25-7 victory in the first set before turning in the same result in the second to complete the sweep.
With the win, South Lawrence improves to a perfect 7-0 on the season.
The Lady Stallions will have a quick turnaround as they return to action Tuesday, August 25, with a road trip to Perry County. The match is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m.
