The South Lawrence Lady Stallions volleyball team continued its strong start to the season Monday, defeating Ethridge in straight sets in their first home match of the year.

South Lawrence won the match 2-0, taking both sets by identical scores of 25-17.

The Lady Stallions were able to control the match and close out both sets to earn their second victory of the young season.

Monday’s match marked the first home appearance of the season for South Lawrence, and the win improved the Lady Stallions to 2-0 on the year.

South Lawrence will be back at home Tuesday, August 11, when the Lady Stallions host Perry County. The match is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
