Lady Mustangs Open Season With 7-4 Victory Over Fayetteville
The Loretto Lady Mustangs soccer team opened the 2026 season in winning fashion Tuesday evening, defeating Fayetteville 7-4 at home.
Loretto established control early and carried a 4-2 advantage into halftime. The Lady Mustangs continued to find the net during the second half, adding three more goals to secure the season-opening victory.
The match also marked the beginning of a new era for the program, as Reed Harriman earned a win in his first game as head coach of the Lady Mustangs.
Loretto will look to build on the strong start when the Lady Mustangs return to action Thursday, August 6, against East Hickman. The home match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
